Aren’t ya’ll glad these folks are not on your payroll? Case-n-Point, there’s an old saying if ya’ll can’t beat em, join em. Which I tried to do. There is an organization in our state of Idaho, called the Idaho State Broadcasters Association. Which supposedly represents the states broadcasters, both TV as well as radio. So I rang up their phone. Know what? Yeppers an answering service. Now I don’t understand it, but wouldn’t ya’ll think that if the recording ya’ll get from them, that sezz they are open from 08:30 to 16:00 hours Monday through Thursday that they’d BE IN THE OFFICE? But sadly they aren’t. What I will say here is this; if you call our number for the United American Independent Truckers Association or any of its siblings, from the Knytes-Of-Anarchy to the Road Commanders Association, you’ll get in touch with us, not some damn recording, or answering service. Some say we as an organization are wishy washy, but when it comes to supporting our membership, or those looking to become members we can always be reachable, 24/7/365, and you’ll get the straight scoop on our organization not just a load of poop.
I do wonder though sometimes, about some firms, is it that the UAITA, and all that’s under our umbrella been gifted that we are all 80% or better still together, fully funded and outside of a damn few blunders get er done, no matter what? Is it unfair competition that few if any in Idaho or even Utah can compete with us? Or are we just blessed by Kahless? Whatever the reason, if ya’ll have wondered why we have never belonged to the ISBA now you know why, no body returns a phone call.
