The Truth is out there , the X-Files reboot but why?

Over the last several hours I have been grooving on a marathon on the Chiller cable network, of the X-Files. Of course there was the old series that FoX has decided to reboot for some unknown reason, maybe to get something on their schedule that wont get axed or cancelled in three to 4 months as is or has been the pattern over 2015. Several years ago and its creeping up again, but there was a writers strike by SaG or the Screen Actors Guild. As such one hour and half hour series that required scripting were gone, replaced with reality and dare style TV that didn't need much writing except for a basic outline.
As for the premier reboot Sunday night following a NFL Conference game I was not completely impressed. It was full of politics and political satire, of is the Government hiding an experiment rather than examining the idea that in fact there are X-men, and alien life living on our tiny rock called earth. The question is why take the series away from its core? While not without blame here as the Knytes through its production/media committee called SouthernSteele Media, has been working on a reboot of the Dukes-of-Hazzard called the Hazzard Knytes. Expanding the story line and staying episodic but going beyond just Bo & Luke and looking at a gearhead club in rural Hazzard County. From the reaction we gained so far at Sundance we are getting all thumbs up, but I'm drifting off subject.
Is there alien visitors on Earth, are the sightings and all bunk or from people on narcotics or is there some grounds that say could be? I say yes. We can't be the only ones on planets in the Universe. Although I can't understand why any real intelligent beings capable of light speed space travel would show up on or visit earth, but hey maybe they needed a piss stop.
Television or the original model of TV is fading fast, faster than the Enterprise moving off of a warp bubble. The studios, networks, and content providers, are reacting to public outcry of getting solid, leave your cares outside escape life TV for a few hours. From Cable/satellite to other points of transmission, if people are going to pay for content, getting something on that warrants pay TV rates, is needed. Several years ago there was a rash to reboot series' of old. First it was Charlies Angels, then Starsky and Hutch, and then the Dukes that blew chunks, as Hazzard fan purists thought the movie was too phony. Hollywood forgot several series' from Airwolf to BJ And the Bear, which I thought was stupid. Two years ago in northern Idaho, Col. Greg Boyington the founding commanding officer of the BlackSheep Squadron aka USMC VMF 214, gained two honors, one a statue plaque, and an airport named after him, yet to date although there was a hour long two year run of a TV series, yet not a real to life documentary movie on the 214. Question is why? So as the Force has been awakened for Star Wars, as we engage warp for a whole new CBS and movie version of Star Trek, and as we try to find the Truth being out there through the X-Files reboot, can Hollywood wake up and bring back some solid series' and films?
As I repeat, the Truth on that too, is out there.
