The Man who does not improve dies, says, Boss Hogg

Boss Hogg used to say, The man who does not grow, dies. That being said and improving being a task  we strive to accomplish, still there are times that can't we just be satisfied with what we have, where we are and in what we're doing? Especially states and regions like Utah. Sure , Utah has a high tax rate and increased regulations, in just about everything from towing to transportation yet Metro Utah has 1gig internet, low cost or at least affordable office space, and overall some damn good and helpful people. Like my former Bishop at the Sullivan Ward in Ogden. I think he understood me far better than most. Of course long before I relocated to Utah from Idaho to build up the main infrastructure of HazzardAyre Radio, including SpeedWrench Radio, I had a great gig with Charlie and A1 Towing & repair there in Twin Falls. Nice place to bed down, within walking distance to food, including McDonalds, and to the shop on South 5th. LexiBelle though was always under the cold and ice, but she got a daily dose of stroking every day. But to facilitate the needs of the Knytes and HazzardAyre Radio, we had to move. So I did. Thing is I did not gain that much if anything, in fact fewer model talent applicants, never a on air applicant ever applied even after we got to the big office in Woods Cross, Utah. Even when we had the studio in the tiny house in Twin Falls at least we'd get 3 applicants per hiring cycle.
Of course I moved from Woods Cross here to Evanston, Wyoming, from a big lie of a newspaper posting of an apartment with all paid for $450.00 , what the ad did not say was the apartment was a decaying old trailer house located out in the middle of no where, miles away from town where snowed in , meant snowed in. Makes me regret the decision of taking the trailer,(apartment) rather than the apartment in Tooele Utah that I was working on. Thing is though I am here. Now I could be full of rotten fruit here, but dig this, over all I have a decent place to live, a shop albeit still slowly trudging up the hill, and all but gaining traction in our action, good, Internet and a lady in a medium sized company that has gone way beyond the call of duty. I suggested a steak dinner when she came up next from Kamas Utah, but she declined saying its just part of her job, if more people in big and medium sized companies did the job, like Ms. Broadhead of AllWest Communications does there would be better companies. Unlike bigger CenturyLink who just kinda cares, and will not get off their duff, to advance Evanston's telecom infrastructure, especially when CenturyLink has a solid partner even financially to work with here(The Knytes-of-Dixie) building a TV/Radio station and media hub, you'd think CenturyLink would sit up and look, and think the child has awakened. Evanston Wyoming in all its hurdles is beginning to grow, although not as quick as some areas, Idaho is growing faster than both Utah and Wyoming, yet with Evanston Wyoming being hindered over the last few years by a Planning and Zoning Director and commission, that now has resigned, their posts. Evanston can finally grab the shifter and shift into second gear here. Consider DukesFest West/Hazzard Nationals to be staged in August of 2017, will tripple the towns population by nearly 200,000 visitors, exhibitors and attendees, many will come and think this is a good place to put up something, or place a location of a company in. This is going to take a cable-tv/Internet, company to give its systems some serious vitamins . CenturyLink I don't think is telling the truth, on the bandwidth they say, considering the office here at the WentWorth Apartments is running at least 3 up and 5 to 10 down. Yet they can only offer me 3 to 1? Naw somebody needs to look into that, yet the guy in Vegas does not or can't put me in touch with the somebody's that can investigate and make this happen for me. While Pocatello Idaho is on my horizon for this fall, the shop and all will be here and with any luck somebody I trust running it.
