HazzardAyre Radio , just gets it done, and done right

Say what you will, about the Knytes and all, but the one thing you can say with all honesty is the media finger of the Knytes-of-Dixie , which is SouthernSteele Media, produces one helluva radio show. HazzardAyre started quite obscurely, in the small sleepy bedroom community of Buhl Idaho, through a small dream I had that sat me up in bed, one night to join together Hazzard County Radio and what we created in Gooding Idaho as AyreWolf Radio(aka:AyrewolfFM) . HazzardAyre was supposed to start out as a sleepy little newsletter, but took root, faster than a wildwood weed seed. By 2012 HazzardAyre had become the one true, long lasting, never fading source for southern historical preservation, and retention. Today with nearly 28, million listeners from around across America and Canada, HazzardAyre is, and will remain the media voice of all REAL Hazzard County/Dukes-of-Hazzard fans, loyalists, and traditionalists. From the music, to the comedic outtakes to the creative features there are few if any other radio either terrestrial,(standard over the air)Radio or online, on demand Radio that matches HazzardAyre. HazzardAyre just gets it done and done right.

Spent the afternoon at the shop, with the crew, one of which don't yet quite connect the dots, with the fact the shop,(Hazzard County Choppers) and HazzardAyre Radio are properties of the Knytes-of-Dixie. I only own Highway-Hooker(Cooter's A1) Toewing. All decisions and operational parts of the shop are voted on at the table by the Knytes. I have very little input. Nobody at the shop get's paid much if anything at all. All money made by the shop, outside any expenses, goes directly to the Knytes. Not me. Or any of the crew. Its that simple.

Every Time I see something on my Facebook Newsfeed its more stupid shit

It's no wonder the politicians in DC get things over on us, nearly 3 out of 5 people in these American States are so dang stupid and confused that there is no way many can think on their own. Add to that their inability to string words together, and all, no wonder the DC occupiers are passing laws, nobody will protest because their too ignorant. I've seen flies more intelligent. 
If the radio station and the shop didn't need Facebook, I'd pull my Facebook account in an instant or at least as long as it'd take to delete my Facebook account. There was a bumper sticker that used to read, beam me up Scotty there's no intelligent life down here, and I'm beginning to believe it.
If America is going to heal and this nation is going to once again be United, it needs to pull it's head out, and read, or at least learn how.

This time, let's talk about someone doing it right

In this day and era it's all too easy to cuss out other people, or companies for being real assholes. However it's truly refreshing, to deal with a big corporate firm, that does things right and treats clients with honor and respect. This morning I'd like to say thank you, to Rocky Mountain Power Company. Over this last few months, things got a bit lean, here at HCC, and as such, missed the power bill. It's not Rocky Mountain Power' fault, its just us, business has just not been that good, and with the loss of two partners at the shop and having to recover twice, things got behind. However , Rocky Mountain Power called, which is nice, I called back, dealt with a very nice lady on the other end, she suspended my turn off, and payment arrangements were made and all is well. Why is it that other companies and people can't be that way? If every vendor and supplier to HCC was this way, my rest at night would be so much better. Especially when other utilities are so mentally challenged and all, it's refreshing to work with such a great utility as Rocky Mountain Power.
Okay then, caught a blip from some gal, asking why we as a club, and I as a person fly the Dixie flag. I replied, simply its our foundation, my heritage, and my and the club's roots. Guess she doesn't tune into the radio show or read the Hazzard County Tymez. 
On the subject of the radio show, We are still having computer and Internet issues. We get good speed coming down, but not going up. So until we get things re-engineered here, on that you'll just have to keep informed via the blogs, and in the Hazzard County Tymez.  HazzardAyre Radio and all its subsidiaries, will be moving to Ogden Utah beginning in September. HCC will remain here in Wyoming, but we need more horsepower to do the radio show and station properly, so that means going where fiber optics are available, and more juice going up, so that's the decision on that front. Additionally, having a greater population of broadcast and other professionals and human resources for and of same available makes it to where the RKA can prosper greater, and with much more efficiency than can be attained here in Evanston.

Don't trust any Yankee and Club stuff

Things may look a different here, well ; This is Hazzard County, where everything is stranger than anywhere else, and where just about everything is possible. It was said, If it could happen anywhere, It will happen in Hazzard County. Even if it's not of the TV show variety, or variant of Hazzard County. Doing a good turn for someone in Hazzard County happens when you least expect it, with no worries after. Extending that courtesy anywhere else meets with disasteroius results. Case in point. cyber cruising one evening I say on this site for Evanston Wyoming, with some gal selling a bunch of things, to cover her water bill or she'd get evicted. naive me I speak up, and help her with her water bill, trouble is and there's no other siphon that could extract money from my account, the same gal took the reciept and copied my account number, so over the weekend been watching small amounts coming out of my checking account. So had to call the bank's toll free line talking to some gal in India or somewhere to get the card and account frozen, so I could fix it in the morning. Wont do that again, except for club members, and folks I damn well know in Hazzard County. It's too damn bad what we enjoy as true honesty and all in Hazzard County, The real Hazzard County, located just 40 miles west of Twin Falls Idaho off old highway U.S. 30. Speaking of Hazzard County, and the club. The concept for the organization as you know is rolling into this thing called the Rode Knytes Association, a heavy duty old skool trucking/toewing preservation organization. The HQ has yet to be decided , but odds are on Ogden Utah. Still close enough for subsidiaries of the organization like The Knytes-of-Dixie to go to to do duty for the organization, and yet in a place to where things that albeit we'd like it to, but where CenturyLink and others have not laid down fiber optics. So Ogden will give us the Internet things we need, as well as the none club resources we need to build this thing, like we always thought it to be. 

Had some church people stop by earlier this evening. Right at the start of BlackSheep Squadron, visited with them. Dave says he thinks there is a big difference between Utah/Idaho LDS members, and those here in Wyoming, namely Evanston. Something of being more holyier than though in Utah/Idaho than here. My feelings and I spoke up about it. Yes there's a difference alright, Utah/Idaho LDS wards and people are not as stuck up, and bigoted as they are here in Evanston. Some say there is racism in America, if you discriminate against someone, even if not the color of their skin, but for what they believe in, their background and ethnicity, are you not the one being racist? Our Rebel people from the land of Dixie have nothing on these Yankee's. While this too may sound racist, dig this; how many if any African American's do you see piloting a car on either of the NASCAR series'? There have been some that came before, but today, when was the last time you saw a person of color climb out of a stock car at a major NASCAR race? 

As I close, it's just too dang bad , that things here and in our area are not like things the way they are in Hazzard County?

It's that time of the year, when kids go back to school, the final getaway for the season comes and fairs and such are abundant. It's also that time of the year when the Knytes-of-Dixie begins the search for the award winning gal to be crowned Miss Hazzard County . This year is no different and the biggest cash prize ever, $250k , plus a bunch of other cash prizes. A taxi and toew company? Can it be done?

A friend of mine and I had breakfast at a Twin Falls city McDonalds this morning, at the freezing outside temp of 8 degrees, but inside he and I were discussing recent issues involving both toewing and so on, when he planted a seed in me that is festering something fierce.

50 miles from Twin Falls is the burgeoning area of what is termed the Mini Cassia area of Idaho. There is no taxi cab company in that area, yet the area is ripe with people needing a ride to get from point A-to- point B, and back home. Many on fixed incomes from senior citizens to both Welfare and as well as retirees.

So then too, with few toewing services there as well and to get Dixie Toewing back into full time operation, thought is to put together something that could become Dixie Taxi and Toewing. Place it in the Mini Cassia area, and grow it into one heck of a company. Without the burdens of the growing mess of a none preff contract in Twin Falls County.

People need a taxi once in awhile, whether that be going , say to Twin Falls to the airport, or a elderly woman going to see the doctor. Who can’t drive, but needs help. Yes there are many free ride senior citizen bus services, in the Tragic Valley, but few if any cab companies in the Mini Cassia area. Coupled with a toewing service and all this could be a leaf that I had not heard or thought of, but does make me think.

A fellow toew service, company executive friend of mine has been tinkering with the same idea for a few months, but his limited money problem prevents him from expanding. Thought is, why should we share the pie, if we can command the entire pie? Be the cream of the crop, and harvest a yield in that field before any or many others even get a leg up? Needless to say , I’m investigating the idea.

HazzardAyre 17 Stop it b4 it starts

If you don’t stop something Before it starts, it can become a condition and situation that gets out of hand and becomes a detriment. Case-n-Point, a brewing can of worms that if allowed to be uncorked will put many independent toewing professionals out of business, increase costs for those that remain, and create a even severely cut throat business environment for the rest of us. Likewise, what works in city areas , does not work in rural areas, where the pickins are slim at best, and distances are greater that increases response times. Here’s the condition;. Twin Falls County Sheriffs office is bringing together a county wide none preference tow contract. In understandable terms , it means that unless someone specifically requests a certain toewing service, then one or two toewing service will automatically get called.

So why should I or the Knytes, care? Simple, this kind of thing could put us at Dixie Toewing out to pasture. More over from the Knytes point of view, this kind of thing, is part of that broken system that we as members of the Knytes fight. That needs fixing. Anytime you have a government agency , who proposes regulations to satisfy a in bed relationship with one or two contractors, it hints at favoritism, More over this kind of thing can fester into other counties and communities. This kind o regulation , kicks right in the teeth any kind of free enterprise, or free trade.

So where did this all start?

Years ago, and we are talking 35 years ago, a new toewing service opened up in Twin Falls City. The owner quickly got in bed with the Police Chief’s daughter, and soon on the books came a city none pref contract. While a few of us held on, and continued to toew in the County, it also put a few others out of business and forced a few into early retirement. Finally the contract was fought, one of the leaders was the Knytes by the highway, but it took 20 some odd years b4 said contract was abolished. But the damage was done.

The requirements to get this contract, are strict and severe as they are not on equal grounds. A smart sheriff, would not impose requirements that are smart for the city, of say Twin Falls, but not for say Buhl.

Twin Falls City sports a population base of just under 60,000. While Buhl has 2,000 people. Meaning Twin Falls City toewers can generate 40 calls or thereabouts in a day. Where in say more remote, rural Buhl, you might see that in a month. And that’s stretching it . At that rate, say for an independent toewing operator in Buhl, its hard if at all possible, to justify, 5 or 6 trucks of various classes , say ; two light duty, two medium duty and two heavy duty toew trucks, that will sit, much of the time, yet, still need to be insured, licensed, and maintained. Twin Falls City, sure, you have a Interstate, that in reality is in Jerome County, but relies on Twin Falls City toewing services, you have the rural neighbor within 10 miles or less, Kimberly, plus the city population base of Twin Falls. You then can justify the higher costs of doing business, because you can make the extra money. But not in the west end of the County that only has one maybe two if you count us here at Dixie Toewing, to run County law enforcement rotation calls.

When the first mess started, most did not really fight it, yet bitched when the contract took hold and over time was just accepted.

B4 this starts in the County, of Twin Falls a County contract needs to be thwarted.

This, is the kind of thing that defines what we talk about, when we in the Knytes-of-Anarchy say we fight the system.
