I fully understand the value that some of ya’ll put on your domestic livestock, and feel the need to protect that investment. Since in many cases that’s how you make your living. If a Wolf comes near and kills your cattle or such fine, protect your property. But a across the board open hunt on Wolves is just plain wrong. The Wolves were brought here not of their own accord. They came inside of trailers , transplanted by man, to repopulate the wolf packs in and near Yellowstone, etc. However, wolves , although smarter than even man, can’t read maps. They have no idea they are in territory that is not theirs. I say leave the Wolves alone. Not only because the cunning and ultimately intelligent wolf is the mascot and all of the AyreWolvez, sibling organization of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, but because the wolves had nothing to do with coming to the northeast corner of Idaho. If anyone’s to blame, its MAN. If there is to be an open season on something, Have a open HUMAN hunting season. It makes about as much sense, as having open hunting for wolves. The Wolf was not in control to coming to our region, Man was. Human’s are over populating the region, how about just shooting people? No I’m not saying that such an event really take place, but I also say just as if a people were to steal your cow, or poach your goats, so too if a wolf partakes of your livestock convict and shoot. Otherwise, leave the wolf alone.
